That's all done on the megasynthesis?? Wow!!!
Man… I still get nostalgic from this
Its coming back guys
I LOV IT!!!
The only bad thing about this game is that is hard af
I remember hurrying home from school to play Subroc and Zaxxon on my ColecoVision, when I was in grammar school. I saved my paper route money for a couple of years to buy a ColecoVision console. Once i borrowed Mr. Do from a friend, I was hooked to the console. My CV addiction began around 1984.
after so many years i have finally found one of my childhood games...
Objectively the worst mario game and a terrible platformer in general. Physics and hitboxes are out of whack.
Is it velocity sensitive with a full size midi keyboard? Im about to buy one. I know the chicklet keys aren't velocity sensitive. Does anyone know?
This, Dino stalker, Ghosthunter, MK9, The Force Unleashed, Jaws Unleashed, Dynasty Warriors 3, Shinobi, and Ultimate Spiderman is what made me git gud at video games
Games are extremely affordable. Cries in 2024 😭
I just added this to my 2600 collection. Can’t wait to play it.
This game reminds me of holidays at a caravan park in Devon in the mid to late 80’s,me and my friend Graham played this all the time great memories!we are now early 40’s and everytime we see each other which isn’t very often, the word POW is always mentioned 😂
Yeah def was boring but we played for days straight
This is bringing back so many MEMORIES THANK YOU UA-cam!!!!
I saw this game in a comic book magazine backnintbh day circled it 100000 x and was o bsessed with wanting this game
I just watched this again in 2024.
trash adapter dont work
I loved this series. Still hoping we might get a re-release or even a Conduit 3 one day...
Airworld now exists. It's on the Atari50: The Anniversary Celebration compilation game. You can get it on Nintendo Switch, the Playstation systems and XBox systems. It came out in 2022.
These are the videos we will miss. R.I.P Classic Game Room
Remembering this game in 2024 still holds up
Yea i remember this Porsche Unleashed on the GameBoy i used to play this in 2005
I bought Baltron because of this review. It's tough, but fun!
it's probably the extra horsepower of the sega that makes it tedious and somewhat unplayable
Happy CGR Friday, I’m a day late but it’s Friday somewhere. I want a read along Omega Ronin book.
Only 8 meg power out of my sega genesis!?
I REMEBERRRRRR
After yearssss of trying to figure out what this game was called I finally found it today aftergoing through Wikipedias list of sega Genesis games lol I was about 7 years old when I first played this game. I remember always thinking that him shooting was him POOPING on the enemies lmao I still can't unsee it. C'MON BOY!
I had one of these as a kid. I never really played it 'on the go' because of the dismal battery life, which was even worse with the batts we had back then. I don't think I ever got more than about half an hour out of them. The only time I really used the batteries was when I was in the middle of a game and needed to switch to a different power outlet. But, it was great for taking over to my friends house. With the 2nd controller port and the ability to hook it up to a TV, it was so much easier than packing the full-size console. I miss it now...
I didn't even own a Genesis. I owned a Sega Nomad. I thought it was the coolest. I spent so much time playing this game on it.
I might love the grey system design the most, but the coolest one is the translucent skeleton model that says "This Is Cool" right there on the disc cover. It's also one of the rarer models out there. I know the white one seemed uncommon at the time, but as far as Japanese models go, it's the second-most common, after the grey original.
There is no light Beer in Germany, but we have a Radler and that's what Arnold drinks after his Workout 👌😂💪 Greetingz and Prost 🍻
That Star wars comment has aged like the finest wine ever made. 10:17
Emulators work well with Nintendo. They have been around since the late 1990s.
I always used the "slow" option for the game Operation Wolf. It gave you more time to react to the things shooting at you.
We use to use the NES Advantage joy stick controller because it had a slow motion option which made this game easy af.
I'm trying to wait two more hours to crack my first beer. It was a bad choice to listen to this. And yes, I have Miller.
There was a Worlds of Power Ninja Gaiden book. I have the Castlevania version where a school kid meets Simon Belmont.
In terms of Cheap MacroLagers nothing beats a PBR, Miller High Life, or Coors Banquet
Thanks Mark you're the reason I'm going back into Rehab 😅😂😂
looks like a piece of crap ; halo reach is better
it's a very nice game with good graphics and music ; even though in easy mode it's hard to beat ; the first and third level are like jackpot where you can attain more lives with no loss and easy maneuvour of the helicopter which will pay you off in second and fourth level which are toughest with expert maneuvering along with airbrakes but overall it's a very good challenging game.
I agree hardware is so much better sounding than software, especially if you can get your hands on vintage analogue synths. They have never managed to capture the magic with modern synths, they are too clean and sterile, but still better than software.
*Hamm's* beats Miller all day long!
I'm a little bit so late so it'll have to be CGR Saturday!! 🍻 ❤ If I see Miller light over here I will definitely try it. I currently have an unquenchable thirst for Birra Moretti Sale Di Mare my goodness, the hint of salt just makes you thirsty enough to crack open another. It's a viscous R2D2 head spinning journey 😄 The CGR beer glass definitely makes every beer taste better! I'm just waiting for pay day to check out the kickstarter, there's a couple of tiers I would like to be in but having just bought a house I'm struggling to justify getting involved when my fiancee wants a million and one things doing. I love the music and the concept but life is catastrophically expensive sometimes. Thank you for another awesome podcast. All the best to everyone ❤ CHECKPOINT! EDF!!
Many years ago someone handed me a corn beer draught, I couldn't believe how good it tasted. I never found that beer again, think that place only had it on tap. Miller is also nice.
Mark hopes everyday to find an exotic beer that doesn't taste like pee. 🍺🤮🫗
@17.00, you didn't play the original Herzog? its for PC-88. Its a lot more limited compared to Herzog 2/Zwei, but it still plays as you describe Also, I have not tried Airmech, but that game is a modern remake of Herzog Zwei. looks decent enough.
Mark was and still is the King of video game reviews! I hope your doing well Mark and that your Vectrex still Buzz’s with delight.
